Joris Hens is a Design & Innovation Consultant at Koos, an agency based in Amsterdam, Lisbon, and Berlin. Having spent almost 4 years at Koos, he has driven innovation to enhance experiences in multiple healthcare contexts, such as health insurance (VGZ), tech (Philips Healthcare, ZorgDomein), and education (Elsevier). Prior to working at Koos, he has been working as a Product Owner where he learned how to move from designing new propositions to actually building and implementing them in an organisation. In his thesis (MSc. Strategic Design), he focussed on how care providers in the cardiovascular domain can strategically obtain patient health data using e-health services, in order to improve both individual and public clinical care.
