Lisa is passionate about finding ways to navigate complexity and make it simple to understand and engage with by blending her visual design background and her design research expertise. She is currently a Sr. User Experience Researcher & Service Designer at Macadamian, a healthcare IT consulting firm. Her UX research experience allows her to focus on studying and improving key touchpoints, while her Service Design lens allows her to step back, look at the big picture and identify where services can be optimized to deliver a better experience for end users and service providers alike. At Macadamian, and at previous enterprise level clients, she has worked with project teams through the entire product lifecycle, from early discovery, framing and ideation all the way through product evaluation. Her learnings of the healthcare space are not only informed by her work at and with payers and hospital settings, but also by the mistakes she has made, and figuring out how to correct them.
